The Ethiopian Diaspora Service Initiative (EDSI) is one of Teach and Serve for Africa’s (TASFA) initiatives established to facilitate knowledge exchange throughout Ethiopia.

Teach and Serve for Africa (TASFA) is a Maryland-based non-for-profit foundation created to promote the exchange of knowledge and empower the youth and workforce of Africa by creating a platform for training, volunteering, mentoring, and serving.

Our Engagement History

Since 2018 our team has engaged with federal, regional, and local Ethiopian government professionals by delivering training in various disciplines. Over 5,000 professionals have participated in our in-person and online training. Our engagements include:

Project Management Training to over 3,200 professionals
Free Foundations of Information Technology training to over 3,400 professionals
Free Foundations of Special Education (Autism) to professionals around the world
Coordinated annual conferences on interdisciplinary areas
Worked with various government entities on capacity building projects and programs
